Brent has had his fair share of injuries throughout his athletic career. Struggling through the challenges of injury combined with a strong interest in healthcare, motivated Brent to pursue a career in physical therapy. Brent graduated with honors from Creighton University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2002. He has extensive experience treating orthopedic and sports-related injuries with emphasis on prevention. Brent also has specialized training and experience in the mechanical diagnosis and treatment of the spine and extremities. Brent has received several honors for his service in the orthopedic physical therapy realm including the highly revered Pinnacle Award for best clinician from the Institute for Athletic Medicine in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Brent is a consultant for many area football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, softball, and baseball teams educating coaches and parents on prevention. As he promotes health and wellness to the community, Brent leads an active lifestyle outside of his practice of physical therapy. He has been playing competitive soccer since his youth including participation in the Olympic Development Program as well as regional select teams in the Virginia, New York, and South Dakota regions. He also enjoys running, hiking, boating, and downhill skiing. Brent has been involved in coaching youth soccer as well. Brent is a dedicated member of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Orthopedic and Private Practice sections. He is committed to providing patients with specialized treatments backed by research and science, offering personalized, hands-on physical therapy.
